*Missioneer is a new way to approach product design for startups. We connect world-class designers outside the US with ambitious startups in San Francisco and beyond. Our thesis is simple: some of the highest potential design talent exists outside the US, and by connecting these designers with ambitious US based startups, and world class mentoring and coaching, we can create win-win situations for both sides. It was founded by a seasoned US design leader (ex-Google, ex-Yelp) after working with and hiring international design teams across the world.*

✨ What you’ll do

• Be placed with a partner startup and work full time, side by side with founders, product managers, engineerings and other designers
• Design end-to-end product experiences across web and mobile: flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.
• Create, contribute to and maintain design systems
• Use the latest AI tools to prototype, validate and iterate on your ideas
• Participate in user research and usability testing; turn insights into design improvements.
• Present work clearly to startup founders and global stakeholders.

🧐 What we’re looking for

• A portfolio of shipped product design work that demonstrates strong UX and visual design.
• 4+ (Senior) / 6+ (Lead) years of product design experience in tech companies or startups (not just agency/marketing).
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Comfort working with agile teams and modern product design tools (Figma, Slack, Jira, Google Docs, etc).
• Availability for at least 4 hours daily overlap with Pacific Time (PT).
• Reliable and fast internet connection
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
